The 7.2mm thickness is enabled primarily by the silicon-carbon battery technology used in the NOTE Edge's 6,500mAh cell. Silicon-carbon battery chemistry achieves a higher energy density than conventional lithium-ion configurations, storing more power within the same physical volume. This allowed Infinix to engineer a battery with 30% more capacity than average capacity.
